This is how we do it here at RSL
|
| Taking part and submiting results |
|
After you have registered you can signup on an rally that are ongoing. When you want to start your rally, you go to the startline and click the "Start Rally" button. You then have HH:MM to drive your rally and come back to RSL and finish your rally.
The organizer use Rally Championship Manager to set how long a rally is before you must come back and finish.
As you can see from the screenshot, the organizer can also set that you can get penalty seconds if you are late finishing your rally.
Just like other settings, the organizer set start and finish date/time for the rally.
So what happen when you can't connect to RSL and finish your rally or your upload is finished after the rally has ended? Taking part, step by step
|
| Driving your rally |
|
It's important that you actually drive your rally (stages) after you start your rally and not upload some old replays. Other replays then fresh replays are not valid. |
| Game and game-patches |
| You have to use the files that can be downloaded from RSL frontpage. |
| Username and password |
|
The username and password you use on RSL frontpage does not work in the discussionforum. The forum use a difference authorization system. |
| Cheating |
|
Unnecessary to tell, but cheating to gain better results is not tolerated. Penalty for cheating is exclusion from this site forever. |
| Driving rules |
|
We know this is rally and cutting is part of "real life" rally, but we have to have some cutting rules. You have to have 2 wheels (or more...) on the road all the time, period. Obviously if you do a mistake that does not gain you time, you are safe. Basicly it's only obvious cuts to gain time that is not allowed.
Why this rule?
Here are some sample cuts that are not allowd. |
