It seems that there are still people who want to play Mobil 1 British Rally Championship, so as the game developed by Magnetic Fields approaches its 6th birthday, RSL has organised Championship 05, our 5th run through the complete series of British rallies.
This time, however, there will be a sting in the tail, with two extra rounds in December: Round 7 will be a RallySprint, while for Round 8 the dreaded bi-annual, 11 stage Monza Rally reaches championship status for the first time, in an event where you will have to navigate through the stages using different routes than normal, and worn tyres often suffer punctures on the ultra long stages, so you'd better read up on how to change wheels mid-stage!
The Championship is only open to Formula 2 cars, and you must drive a different car each rally.
As usual, there will be an Independents Cup for drivers new to the championship, so a warm welcome to any new RC drivers, and welcome back to any RC veterans who want to dust off their RC CD and remember those loo-o-oong stages!
